GF July 21th

This Week’s Workout Preview

This week is all about building strength, improving stability, and challenging your endurance through purposeful movement. Every station has been designed to help you move better, feel stronger, and continue making progress toward your goals. Take a few minutes to review the workout so you know what’s ahead, then come ready to work hard and have fun.

We’ll begin with slider training, where you’ll perform Burpee Squats, Racked Side Lunges to Press, Lateral Pistol Squats, Reverse Lunge Curl to Press, and Racked Front Lunges to Curl. Sliders create constant tension and challenge your balance, forcing your core to stay engaged while your legs, shoulders, and arms work together through every movement.

Next, we’ll use resistance bands to strengthen the muscles that support your hips and improve lower-body stability. Seated Hip Abductions, Squatted Side Steps, High Knees, and Hip Thrusts will activate your glutes, strengthen your hips, and improve the mobility and control that carry over into everyday movement and athletic performance.

Our strength station features the Trap Bar Deadlift, one of the best exercises for developing total-body power. This movement targets your glutes, hamstrings, quads, back, and core while reinforcing proper lifting mechanics and building functional strength that translates both inside and outside the gym.

We’ll also spend time with the dumbbells, performing Sumo Squats into Front Squats. This combination keeps your lower body under tension while challenging your core, posture, and upper-body stability. It’s an excellent way to build leg strength, improve endurance, and develop full-body control.

Remember, every workout is an opportunity to improve—not to be perfect. Focus on great effort, good technique, and steady progress. I’ll be there to coach you through each movement, offer modifications when needed, and help you get the most out of every station. Come ready to challenge yourself and leave stronger than when you walked in.
